ART OF DREAMING SESSIONS

Art of Dreaming Sessions are a compassionate and courageous space to creatively explore myriad wisdoms of night-time dreams.

HOW DOES AN ART OF DREAMING SESSION UNFOLD ?

You write down one or two dreams and bring these accounts to your session. We meet on-line via zoom or in-person if proximity allows.

If you don’t have a dream to share and your intention is to remember your dreams better, we will have An Invitation to Dreams session, where Sasha will teach you simple and profound techniques to connect with and better remember your dreams.

In the sessions, as well as a gentle inquiry into the dream, usually some kind of art-play will be engaged as a tool to facilitate understanding and improving connection with dreams.

As an artist, dreams deeply inspire Sasha’s work. In these sessions, engaging the hands and heart with art-making is about awareness of dreams and your particular passions. Specific artistic training and expensive art materials are not required. It is about art-play and creative exploratory expression of the dreaming experience.

By the end of the session, most participants have an “aha” moment with at least one specific insight the dream has for their life. And if not during the session, the “aha” comes within the days following the session.

WHAT CAN SASHA OFFER YOU AS A DREAMING GUIDE?

• CURIOSITY: she has always been curious and felt connected with dreams. It was well into adulthood before she met anyone who understood that dreams were important experiences, but she always knew intrinsically that they were.

• UNDERSTANDING: Over the years in her own personal practice and also in ongoing studies, she has learned how to engage with dreams in simple and profound ways. She can teach you these methods so that you can better understand the language of your dreams.

• IMMERSION: She has been fortunate to study and work with dreamwork mentors and teachers including Mary Jo Heyen, Kezia Vida and Leilani Wong Navar. Dream-working courses with Toko-Pa Turner and Dr. Stanley Krippner have been pivotal. Continuing to read discerningly on the topic of dreams. Most recently she has enjoyed a course of study with Andrew Holocek on dreaming and dying, centred around the venerable text known as The Tibetan Book of the Dead. Above all, the imaginal realms of dreams themselves continue to be the source of the deepest teachings.

• PRESENCE: She has been doing “the work” – becoming aware, conscious of the unconscious and engaging in daily meditation for the last 18 years. It is a joy to be present to you and your dreams in a supportive, clear and loving-kind way.

• CLARITY: Most participants report that after their sessions, dreams come in with much more power and detail. Those that rarely remember their dreams, have reported that after sessions their recall was vastly improved. See below for more experiences.

One hour sessions are $90 CAD.

Go deeper with more dreams in a series of three sessions and receive a bundle discount price of $240 CAD.

THE COLLECTIVE SESSIONS

This is how The Collective – GROUP CREATIVE – Sessions work: gather your bookclub, friends, family members, meditation circle, yogis, sports team or whatever collection of 6-12 humans you like and we explore over an afternoon or series of afternoons being artful with collage, book-binding and creative dreaming.

Price range: $70-$200 CAD per person, per session, (depending on the project you choose).

THE SINGULAR SESSIONS

Singular Sessions are ONE-ON-ONE CREATIVE sessions focused on you and your creative exploration of life.

The guidance is centred and personal. The deep listening in these session offers relief, clarity and joy. The hands-on creation is playful and transformational. 

Whatever life experiences you are traversing will be honoured and integrated by this process. Particularly helpful for comfort and wisdom during pivotal life changes.

Price: $330 CAD per two hour session
